As a professional contractor or arcitect, we know you don't have time to waste and you want to know what we can do for you. So in a nutshell, here it is. We can be an affordable source for block load calculations and Rescheck forms to file with regulating agencies. We perform room by room calcs for complex retrofits where you need to know cfms and gpms. We can even enable some of you to propose work that you might normally walk away from, as long as you throw our fees in with your price. We can even be your way out of the door if your customer doesn't want to pay for proper minimal design services. Have you ever needed a second opinion to close a deal after a customer was under-quoted and under sized by a fly by night? Have you ever bid and won a job a bit over your head? Did you ever have an unhappy customer because you had to guess in the peak seasons when you had 4 load calculations to do and only time for one? Or are you simply a firm with some really good installers and service techs that are not really strong with load calculations?* With over 15 years of experience in residential and commercial design, We know the right questions to ask and the right things to look for in order to help you achieve your residential design objectives. So if you can do a decent survey as stated on the "How it Works" section of the home page and fax or mail it to me, we are here to be helpful to you.(412)423-9034 Fax (412)203-2094. Are you a green contractor? We are green by design. If you need help with the Energy Star/ Resnet Home Energy Rating System, LEED for Homes, or BPI building analysis, we can help you comply. In many states we can help with the DOE Rescheck code compliance forms. If you are in Florida we can also help with the FlaRes Energy Gauge compliance program.

Over the past 20 years Heating and Cooling contractors have done a tremendous job transitioning away from HCFC's. In some cases current refrigerants are 1000 times less harmful to the environment than the older refrigerants.* However, some contractors still have a long way to go when it comes to helping customers get the most efficient heating systems possible. Companies that don't perform load calculations when changing to high efficiency furnaces actually hurt the customer and the environment. Customers sometimes pay for bigger systems than they need, and they are subject to uncomfortable temperature swings. These days properly sized furnaces should run longer at the lower end of the design temperature range. This is more comfortable for the customer and better for the environment. As you can see below, I am a memeber of the US Green Building Council. I take conservation of fossil fuels seriously. I highly encourage all heating and cooling contractors to do the same.
Be sure to be environmentally friendly and learn the new codes from the International Code Council, Presently there is a new International Residential Code, a new International Mechanical Code and a new ASHRAE indoor air quality standard.
We are honored to be a Home Energy Rater for the Energy Star program. If you would like to be an Energy Star Builder we would like to be of service to you. It is a wonderful way to build a better home and set your company apart from the competition.
